Merlot 80% Malbec 15% Petit Verdot 5%
2Hectares of vines on siliceous clay & gravel soils yielding 4,000 litres/Ha
Early morning hand harvest, de-stemmed and crushed at the winery. Alcoholic fermentation at 26ºC followed by controlled malolactic fermentation. No sulphur is added in the process and maturation is 6 months. Bottling is under nitrogen to preserve the wine.
It is a wine to be tasted with a nose full of fresh red fruit. Elegant mouth feel that will seduce you with its soft and supple tannins.
Aperitifs. on the cool side, choose a Brie or Camembert. Pair with roast veal or beef accompanied with mushrooms, a leg of lamb, a grilled rib steak or a cassoulet.
